Allow deleting drivers from animated values

When working with linked assets, some properties are driven. If I delete a driver in a shot file, animate that value instead, and later make changes to the original asset file, the driver comes back when I reopen the project. It overrides the animation I added.

At that point, I can’t delete the driver anymore unless I first clear the animation, delete the driver, and then re-add the animation. When a value is animated, there is no option at all to delete the driver like you normally would.

You might ask: why not just delete the driver in the original asset file? The reason is that I reuse the same assets across multiple shots, and I still want the drivers to exist for other files.

Regardless of whether this specific behavior can be fixed, it would make sense to have an explicit option to delete a driver from a value even if that value is animated. There’s no clear reason why animation should completely block driver removal. image.png Screenshot_1.jpg
