Custom buttons for scripted tools

So, I would love an easy "kind of drag and drop" way to execute scripts.

Imagine I create a little tool as a python script. Then I just drag and drop somewhere in the screen or on a pop up menu and then you get a button that executes the script.

Example: I made an easy script that I use a lot when modelling.

Create a selection of vertices -- Cursor to selected -- change to Origins -- Selection to cursor -- Change back to object -- Cursor to worls origin

Only way I got to use that is by leaving and opened script editor and when I need to execute it putting the cursor in the scrip editor and run it.

So, maybe there is a way to do it already but I can't find how to achieve it.

I'll have a look at that, thanks a lot. But anyway I think that these functionality should be in Blender without addons.

LalaGhost

When you register it as an operator and put it into

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.0\scripts\startup\

and then you can run it via the search menu or put into your quick favorites for example. With a bit of coding experience you put into your custom panel with all your needed custom functions.
