Full suite of CAD Drafting tools
There isnt currently an industry standard piece of drafting software for film art departments. People use autocad, vectorworks, rhino, sketchup all on the same project and its a nightmare.
Most people working in film art departments for drafting sets and designing props etc are self employed contractors and so have to provide their own equipment and software which isnt cheap.
If blender had a fully featured set of tools rivalling that of autocad, it could seriously disrupt that side of industry because its CAD for much more creative output than architecture or industrial use. Having seamless integration into a 3d package from CAD would create a really good pipeline for going from art department to concept art to previz meaning there's less duplication of work. Currently there are no tools that would allow for a full end to end pipeline in this part of industry.

What about addons like blenderbim.org/ ?
and blender-archipack.org/
BIM Is slightly different because of its database backend. It would essentially need to be like autocad but open source. The built in cad tools are okay for basic stuff but theres the whole drafting layout side thats still missing.
