Geometry Nodes - nodegroup toolset/built in addon

Houdini has a "Labs" toolkit whereby workflow enhancing artist friendly node groups are available with continuous updates, so it's not unusual in other software to package more niche nodes/nodegroups that are separate from the main nodes in an add-on. sidefx.com/products/sidefx-labs/

I propose having nodegroups that would be the highest quality and be made by Blender, released weekly that you can press a button to update.

There are already add-ons for "extra mesh" and "extra curves" in the object mode that could be ported over into geometry nodegroup versions... so niche objects such as "torus knot" and useful things such as "round cube" could be available as nodegroups instead of dedicated single nodes.

The new toolset would show up in the shift A menu while you work in geometry nodes.

Just like how the actual geometry nodes project gets developed in a module with reviewers and certain standards, that process that seems to be working great and could be extended to nodgroups. Demo files in geometry nodes already get made for blender.org so I feel this is not a crazy idea to try out.

Marked as done as blender 3.5 is now officially out and includes a Bundle of "essentials" nodegroups in the asset browser.

I marked as in development as an "Essentials" asset library that is bundled with Blender is being worked on. This is what I was asking for -nodegroups/ Assets from the folks at Blender for the most important workflows.
