* @-L0Lock- * How is Blender stretched out it has the modelling tools, texturing tools, it doesn't need much for destruction, however we used to have really good tools for that. Blender has a basically complete set of sculpting tools. it doesn't need particles but it has Amazing water simulation. However Geometry nodes I don't really agree with unless its going to become like houdinis limiless procedurallism.

Some want Blender to have Mocap tools, some want audio editing, some want Adobe-level video & post-fx, some want CAD, some want file versioning, some want VR, some want zBrush-level scupting, some want voxel modeling, some want advanced UV tools, some want advanced retopology tools, some want quixel/subtance-level texture painting, some want unreal engine in Blender, some want a full IDE, some want a fully fledged C/C++ API, some want fully procedural asset generation like speedtree and worldmachine, ... And now some want photoshop and illustrator in Blender.

In your own comment you already have a disagreement on whether geometry nodes should be implemented. Why ? Why would that be a bother compared to any of the other "features" that other people asked or Blender already has more or less implemented already.

The issue is, Blender currently struggles just being stable and robust with what's already implemented. Some tools are barely usable in production. Yet so many people are asking for more features, more areas of usage, sometimes completely out-of-topic and already well served by other softwares. One day someone will ask Blender to become its own OS at this rate.

* @dark.zevs7 * It's not a puppy right? It's a tool. A tool that people use for a living and needs to perform for what they need. We don't need a tool that does everything at a poor level, we want a tool that does a few things well.

* @-L0Lock- * true cuz there are ppl that work on them for living as well and not just for fun like some of us like me which is for fun <3 but maybe one day you know xD if someday thay polish out the stuff that are already in blender thay maybe add some stuff that we wish xD and become even more amazing of a software if that's even possible cuz is already so amazing <3

* @jordan2oemcke * That would come with better curve support, which is already being talked about. Not quite the level of illustrator, but it will allow you to do some of those things.

In the meantime something like Inkscape will get the job done

It's a massive block of unbroken text filled with "xD" and other language that makes it sound more like you're texting your BFF after doing a line of shots than making a proposal. No matter how smart you actually are, writing a post like this immediately gives the impression that you simply don't care and will lead to immediate downvotes without people even reading it through.

A post that is clear and well written is a lot more likely to be upvoted and seen by the devs.

It's not that you are not welcome here, or even that you idea is horrible. I'd recommend reading other posts on this website (pay attention to the ones that get a lot of upvotes) and re-write this proposal while trying to match the general etiquette of the other posts. I wouldn't be surprised if you went from -4 votes to even a couple of upvotes with that one change 🙂
