Import/Export User preferences as a '.py' file

If the shortcuts can be Imported and Exported through a '.py' file; would it be possible to so the same for the user preferences?

Or even have the possibility to combine it all into a single file?

It would be more straightforward than trying to explain to somebody else that, in order to have the same Quick favourites or addons, he has to search for installation folder (that he had never seen before) or to search through a %appdata% because this folder is often hidden.

It could be just zip-up whole user preferences folder.

Good proposal, def an upvote from me. As a current solution, If you don't pity 10 bucks you could buy an addon called Power Backup by bonjorno7 on Gumroad. It can save your preferences in to a file and restore it back from this file. Also it can save addons and keymaps (experimental).
