One chance to set Mesh Parameters?
What is the logic behind that?
Why can't a user modify the parameters at any time after the mesh is created? Is that so difficult? How does only one chance make sense?

Wait brother geometry node will solve this issue, just wait to spread awareness of nodes, you will be amazed how artist will make everything non destructive. If you want to change size of cube then u can use XYZ dimension to change as per your need and then apply scale. if you want to change diameter of Cylinder the change XY Dimension by click and drag over X to Y to change both value simultaneously or to change height just change Z dimension and apply scale. For Sphere Change the XYZ value simultaneously by Click drag from X to Z values in Dimension (N-Panel). For torus simply goto edit mode, select all and press "Alt+S" to change dia as per your need. hope it will solve your issue.
