Make 3D Cursor tool react to grease pencil fills

Drawing in 3d is hard, setting the cursor is one of the main tools, so it would be nice if it could snap to grease pencil fills(and strokes).

shift +S in edit mode can help

that will just put the cursor to the pivot of the gb object .. i want to use the 3d curser tool to place it directly on the gp mesh just like it works on other meshes

in object mode right now we can't select strokes but in edit mode we can select points of any stroke then shift+S and the pie menu appear , maybe i don't anderstant what you desire to achieve

its breaking up the workflow. when you draw you don't want to move to other modes.you just want to drop the 3d cursor and and continue drawing

yeah i want it in the drawing mode, an just quickly set the cursor with the CURSOR TOOL and my pen .. not go into edit mode , unlock layers , select a vertex, shift S , go back to drawing mode. imagine if you switch alot between layers and have to do that all the time

Shift+S doesn't align the rotation of the 3D cursor. Which is very useful for aligning the canvas with a stroke.
