Merge Link to collection and Move to Collections into one shortcut.
First of all, the default SHIFT+M is really uncomfortable and I wasn't even aware the link functionality even existed until I pressed it accidentally.
I think the design would work really well if pressing M summoned both at once next to each other.
It also promotes discoverability of the linking to a collection feature.

That's where the Collection Manager addon excels at IMHO:
Though at first it may look busy and crowded compared to the current Move/Link to Collection menus, the GUI exposes much more things you can do with collections, and therefore I think does a better job not only to teach users what collections are and can do, but also makes power users' life easier because all you need is there in a single convenient place.
