Easy to set UI: 6-6-6 rule
Have you ever tried Zbrush? how you can customise UI without caring about to change the core of the software, and you can export and keep your own UI?
Blender does not respect at all the law of 6 elements per sheet. (death by powerpoint... and attention overwhelm) Group things in 6 that contains 6, that contains 6...
Hide what you don't need, Blender shows a lot of things.. it is the same as if for cooking an egg at a kitchen, you take all the tools that you have in your kitchen out and you have to jump and try to find them all over the place.
IT makes no sense, it does not help to focus on work, it just puts obstacles.

A proposal like this without images, mockups, references, is not particularly useful.
Hiding what you don't need works only if you do one task for a long time. Otherwise, it's a lot of overhead frequently.
It's also the difference between a kitchen in a photoshoot and an actual kitchen where people cook daily.
I don't think Zbrush should be on anyone's tongue when talking about functional UI. if Zbrush UI uses the 6-6-6 rule, whatever it is, I think I'll avoid it like the plague, thank you!
in all seriousness, if I was cooking, I WOULD want all my tools on a single well-organized wall. it's simply an unfortunate tradition that we keep them in cupboards and hide them away, while walls and ceilings are left empty.
I've worked in UX design for 20+ years and I've never heard of the 6-6-6 rule. Where does that rule come from?
I tried to google it, first results are dumb "dating rules". I tried again by adding "design" in the search, it returned the dumb "6-6 rule" of not having more than 6 words per line and 6 bullet points in a presentation. Tried again with "UX", first result doesn't even mention the word or number 6.
All in all i either found unrelated rules that everyone calls dumb, or nothing at all 🤔
