Interface Font “Inter” option slashed zero
As a designer I really love the more readable and more modern look of Blender 4.0’s new font family Inter. I especially love the use of the variant glyphs like lowercase l, 3, 4 and 9. They are much easier to read in the interface.
One of the Betas of Blender 4.0 even had the slashed Zero glyph activated. I understand the design team decided against using it in later builds. But I like it much better, both in readability and stylistically. Is it possible to add a checkbox in the font-settings to activate the slashed zero?
Thanks a lot

Good question.
We don't currently have the ability to expose optional OpenType features like this and dynamically change them. To do so will require using a higher-level library like Harfbuzz, which is on the roadmap. Once we are using that we can expose the optional things like slashed zero, numeral styles, the disambiguation set, etc.
Note that we briefly had that slashed zero enabled but turned it off because the slash is going in a direction that makes it confusable with Scandinavian slashed letter O
