Asymmetrical grid snapping
The ability to change the grid size on each axis individually. eg. it snaps in 10cm increments on the x and y axis but 12.6cm in the z axis. This would be useful for working with Lego for example which use the measurements above. It could also be good for modular buildings when you don't have a square module size.

Yes, that could be handy, but i would think a separate grid for snapping, where you could have different sizes for the axis would be a better solution. Perhaps where you can set special grid lines to snap on, like in drawing programms.
