Add support for Material socket type FROM GEOMETRY NODES in shader editor and nodes with material socket and add import MTL / MTLX node in Geometry nodes and in Shader editor
Hello, dear Blender developers, could you please add a socket type called “Material” to the shader editor, along with nodes containing such a socket, such as the Material to Shader node, the Material node, the Mix Material node, and the Import MTL/MTLX node (Figure 1)?
The Material and Material to Shader nodes are needed in order to use data from the output of a material in one shader that is referenced from another material, for example, materials such as glass and metal are created in the Blender file, and data called Surface inside the glass material refers to the metal material using the Material and Material to Shader nodes and using the Gradient Texture and the compare node in the "more than" mode, we get a mixture of glass and metal (Figure 2).
Using them, we can select the material using the Cryptomatte node from the compositor editor, so that we can select the material not by the assigned faces, but by switching based on the gradient (Figure 3).
The Import MTL/MTLX node must be present not only in the shader editor, but also in the Geometry Nodes editor. Secondly, the Import MTL/MTLX node in the Geometry Nodes editor will output materials in the form of a list (Figure 4),
and since the shader editor does not have a socket shape called “list,” you will have to switch the material using an input socket called “Material Index,” and the node’s output will be an output socket called Material Count.
3) Figures 5 and 6 show examples of node trees, thanks to which you can create complex shaders using the nodes I proposed.
The Mix Material node is needed to create smooth transitions between materials; Figure 6 shows the use of the Mix Material node.

I don't understand why no one is reading my idea, is there really something wrong with my idea with sockets of material for the shader editor, if so, then let them tell me why.
