Light Influence Slider

Currently in Cycles, if you want to manipulate the diffuse, glossy, transmission and volume scatter aspects of a light, this would have to be done via compositing or manually turning off certain light contributions which is very time consuming.

It would be really useful if Cycles had Influence sliders for Diffuse, Glossy, Transmission, and Volume Scatter in the light settings, similar to what's already available in EEVEE. Being able to quickly adjust how each light contributes to these different components would make lighting much faster and more flexible, without needing to jump into compositing every time.

I know this isn't really physically accurate, but I see it more as an optional artistic tool. The sliders could simply default to 1, so anyone who wants a physically accurate light wouldn't have to change anything.

I think this could make lighting in Cycles a lot more enjoyable and efficient, especially for artists who spend a lot of time fine-tuning scenes or matching the look of other renders. Screenshot 2026-07-08 150826.png
