Adaptative Subdivision use multires modifier info instead of displacement
Have Adaptative Subdivision use the displacement information from the multires modifier instead of a displacement map.
Workflow would be, you model with multires modifier, and then instead of having to make a displacement map, you can just set the adaptative subdivision to use the multires on rendertime.
I know this is easy to say, but probably not to do, but a guy can dream:(

What is the benefit??? Blender should load the full hires anyway, and even then, adaptive subdivion+texture would have more definition since it can produce even less than 1px sized poligons. For what you ask the answer is: bake
the idea was to avoid bake/retopo/uvs, by having blender reach the multires highest level on render time only with adaptive subdiv, accessing it as if it was only a displacemap, but maybe technically that is not possible, so in that case this would not work as you say.
Why not just enable the multi-res at render?
@Josephbburg: So it is lighter, has less geometry to render when not necessary, kind of like a decimate, but view dependent.
