Keep Operator Area Visible Until User Leaves

Why isn’t it an option? I’ve wanted this in Blender for years, Why doesn’t the Operator Area or Options stay visible unless the mouse cursor leaves it? This is something powerful and very useful, and I’ve wanted it a lot, especially for the Edit options like Undo and Redo. Why does it have to disappear every time I click? Why doesn’t it stay until I decide to leave the operator myself? For me, this would be a revolutionary change if it gets fixed in Blender and added as an option, like “close menu on leave” that appeared in recent updates. This feature would preserve the most important thing in Blender

Most every software I've ever used: after you pull down a menu and choose a thing, it does this thing and closes the menu.

What you're apparently asking for is to be able to pull a menu into a floating toolbar, which is a completely different thing.

Yes, I think I didn’t explain the options clearly. The important point is that at least one of them could be really useful.
