Loop Cut: add Symmetry and Slice Selected options
I think Loop Cut would greatly benefit from 2 fairly simple options.
Symmetery:
Create Loop Cuts to both sides of the Face Loop. When Loop Count is more than 2, the bordermost loop cuts could define the widhth of the loop "strip"
Slice Only Selected:
Loop Cut Only the selected Faces

Well, symmetry only with 2 cuts is not enough. Usualy for symmetry i use 3 (one in the middle, 2 on the sides) to create hold edges near the borderes + segment hold edge to prevent from bulging / depressing when modeling with subd.
Selected only - absolutely.
Both of such things saves tons of time/clicks.
