additional armature selection set feature

A behavior that alot of animators and myself included always do when animating is selecting a set and keying all joints that resides in that set. It helps for doing blocking animations.

Currently it takes alot of steps to select the correct selection set to said joint to then press 'key all'. It would be nice to have a feature where one can right-click or having a shortcut button where it automatically keys all joints residing in that selection set for quality of life.

2nd feature is that I love the recent bone collection list display in which I can tell what selected joints are located in which list and hope that can share the same feature in selection set for managing.

oh yhea I know that exist and the reason for posting is to have some more quality of life put into this. When it's under rl working enviroment, I like to see accessing it quicker. Just a few minutes ago, I juuuust realized there's a shortcut Shift+Alt+W that streamlines it more comfortably. So that pretty much makes it tolerable for me now! I just didn't realize that option existed until I accidently watched a youtuber.

  • Something else I realize is I wish if I select a set, it would deselect any joints that aren't in said set. Or else I be confused if they are part of the set but not, thru human error assumption.

  • In a perfect world, I wish to have just a shortcut button that'll key not only the joint I've selected but it would recognize the set it's located in and key it too under a single move.
