2022 Blender - 1st Carbon neutral 3D tool?

What if Blender would be developed so that there's zero footprint (or compensated) in the near future, perhaps already in 1-2 years?

Yeah ... You did it. You found most carbon dirty process in whole world. It's really critical to make Blender development zero carbon. Else whole world will die.

* @IIIFGIII *Why not make Blender development co2 neutral?

It's just to take a certain path and show that they care and being ahead of competitors, like this Tesla VS Ford: prnt.sc/vp6txe

* @UIoa * It's not about " why not? " it's about - blender development is like nothing behind real co2 dirty productions. Several dozens peoples do something on their PS'c/notebook. Not even like statistical error but like real nothing. But you will try to f@ their minds with co2 free things...

Go and find some big factory which produce each day more co2 then all Blender foundation will do in 1000 years and try to make it co2 free... Good luck & have a fun!!!

What a pathetic bullshit.

It's simple really, you can do it yourself just by using no electricity. That way you won't have any carbon print when using Blender and you won't troll here.
