Keyframes for render region

It would be really nice if a render region could be animated so users could set keyframes for the dimensions of the region. In my case, I am trying to render a model with a transparent background so I can composite it into a scene. I currently have to set the render region for a small set of frames because the model eventually moves outside the region.
