Wire Outlines

When you select an object with X-Ray turned on, you get this really nice outline to objects. It's more minimal than wireframe, and allows you to more easily do things like judge the size of nested cylinders. I would like to be able to use this type of outline for some objects when not on xray mode for all objects.

As you can see, this mode displays the inside radius of the body cylinder as it butts up against the solid internal cylinder. If we saw full wireframe, the display would be a lot busier.

Alternatively, this type of outline would be very nice for the Cylinder bounding box, with circles at the top and bottom faces, and lines on tangent points, without any additional lines in the middle.
