Expand All Heirarchy In Menu
So shift-Leftmouse on the arrow will expand all the hierarchy, which is very important when dealing with rigging and such.
I'd like to see this option added to the context menu.
The only reason I know about the hotkey was because I dug through user questions.
Ideally all hotkey actions should have a button somewhere in the associated UI.

So true!
Absolutely. All functions should have a button and "very important also" a tooltip with the associated hotkey info. This is not only for beginners but for everyone. You use * button too often so you see the tooltip and go.

Unfortunately the right click menu operates on all elements in the outliner at once, so it expands all entries within the outliner
