Holding alt and dragging a node, let's you move it away, while reconnecting the wires between them.
It would be very useful if you could do the same with multiple nodes at the same time. While keeping the connections of the selected nodes intact

The main problem seems to be how to make the control to move many nodes with this kind of change
We can already move many selected nodes at once with LMB so this only adds the "ripping" feature, no?
Since we can select an arbitrary amount of nodes from different branches the logic could complicated though I guess, maybe we should produce some examples to get a sense of how complicated.
A lot of this is already handled though with the Ctrl+X command of deleting multiple nodes and keeping connections, if possible (may just be in Node Wranger? Cannot remember). This would just be preserving the nodes along with that functionality.
