Relatationship objects - highlight outline
Right now we have for object
Relatationship lines
in "show overlays", but this is not helpful to discover real Relatationship objects in advanced assembly when small distance or object on object, etc.
By this want propose to show for selected object as children other with outline and similar for parent.

That's a great idea. ¿But how would those other Outlines not directly compete with the previously existing ones?
It would probably require that the design of these 'Relational Outlines' would be slightly different than the original ones, not overlapping. Maybe they are thicker and/or right above (1 pixel) the original Outlines for Selection; ¿maybe they are dashed or pointed lines Outlines?
¿And what if the user has got a Multi-Selection of elements in which many Parents and Childs are in it? I guess only the Active element in the Selection is the one that will generate the extra Outlines (for its Parent & its Child(s)).
Thus, I suggest you to edit your post and write something like, referring to the "Active" element in the Selection (it might not only be about Objects on Object Mode, but Bones on Edit Mode or even Pose Mode perhaps… but then the Outline Colors are different depending on the Modes I guess… so this may starts to get a bit confusing and complicated.
It would be great to have some imagery presenting the idea; they say this helps any suggestion to be better assessed and then developed.
Agreed. Alternatively, a double tap on the . key could focus the view on the parent of that object!
