Node group layout improvements
Node groups can get very long really quick. It would be great to have more control over how they layout. Columns, rows, row labels, responsive layout. I'm sure there are probably a lot of other things I'm not thinking of the moment.
This would obviously mean input UI changes which is no small task i'm sure. I'm trying to imagine it to do a mockup.

And thanks to your question I could imagine the following: In the Nodegroup in the N menu it should be possible to insert a spacer. A dividing line that can do nothing, except a line between the group elements.
And: insert a dropdown in the same place. All elements below belong to it. To finish off, insert an end dropdown or mark the last element as the last?
My wish for Node Groups is that you can pull out all elements. Everything you want should be able to be changed outside of the group. Here is the link to my idea: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/65dbbc
I think blender should inspire from other node based software like Nuke, aubstance, houdini, rhino, fusion etc to suit its need
