Using blend-file data in VSE

There are many cases where the data from the blend file cannot be used in the VSE, for example an image or a text.

In addition, it almost always asks to add an external resource, as in the case of a sound.

It would be nice if VSE had more integration with the rest of Blender, for example:

1- include header with blend data list, in all source.

2- option to choose an internal data, when adding a strip.

3- drag and drop directly from the outliner, in those data compatible with VSE.

This should also be the reverse: If I add a video strip, image, or image sequence, it should be accessible in the clip or image listings. This already happens with sound.

I do not understand why this proposal has received negative points, and why someone does not want to unify all the blender data. This problem is discussed by many of my novice students, they think that the most logical thing would be that if a video is added in the sequencer, it can be accessed from the editor clip. I would like to get an answer or discussion if I'm saying something wrong
