Jump view to mouse pointer location
The ability to move the view to center on the location of the mouse pointer. Similar to pressing G in LightWave Modeler.
Also, please re-establish OS support for Windows 7 (like for Blender 2.92). Having v. 2.93.5 installer only work for Win 8 and above will cut out a lot of users. It's much easier to take over the world by supporting Win 7-64, no matter how much you might want people to upgrade to a newer operating system.

Alt MMB is good. Thanks for mentioning it.
alt + MMB clic is what you're looking for I think
Supporting Windows 7 again will likely not happen since Microsoft announced that they have dropped support regarding this version. So what would be the point for software developers to maintain things over on OS that is officially deprecated?
What's the point in dropping support for Windows 7 when there's not a single element of Win 7 that would negatively affect the operation and performance of Blender? Why pointlessly dump such a massive install base? The only people affected by depreciation of an OS are people with on-line security concerns. However, even that can be overcome with some rudimentary web-security knowledge. Many people who are serious about CGI don't connect their 3D workstations to the web anyway. For those who really understand the NT OS and its follow-ups, this isn't even a debate. I thought Blender was about supporting the end-user and not bullying people into having to use the newer releases of operating systems. There are plenty of other 3D apps that still support Windows 7. If Blender wants to hand those Win 7 users to those other 3D apps, this is a great way to do it.
Isn't shift b - zoom to area enough?
Thanks. Yes. I just tried that out and I think that's close enough to what I was thinking of. Good comment.
