Color for node wire
I think having the color of the node input/output would help in general, and especially in a large node-tree with wires everywhere.

I think this is a really great idea! It works wonders for legibility and clarity. How would you deal with cases where the user connects two mis-matched sockets e.g. Color to Value, Yellow to Grey? A simple blend?
This particular case needed to be discussed, maybe adding gradiant is better but require more dev, or maybe just take the input color as wire color is enough.
Yeah, This would be amazing, even just in those images it really helps to improve the readability of the node tree
Yeah. Would be nice have opportunity to change color in the theme settings. Another layer for user customization.
