The feature is good, but I have got into the habit of pressing all the buttons on the mouse when I turn. This always cancels the rotation in the new version, which is quite annoying. Maybe somebody else has this problem?
I think it should be a setting, so you can deactivade it if it anoys you.

Sorry for the late response, what do you mean by simpler? I think a setting is pretty simple
