nvidia denoiser compositor node
hi. i would like to ask the devs to implement the nvidia denoiser node into compositor. it's strange that it is already done for the viewport but not for compositor. this might give us a drastically faster result when using some advanced denoising node hacks.
EDIT: since the denoiser is now a part of nvidia driver i guess it migh be easier to implement it.

There are some workflows that aren't supported by enabling the NVIDIA denoiser as a compositor node. When sending the file to a renderfarm it would most likely look differently, as renderfarms might not have a NVIDIA GPU.driver installed. Also AMD and Intel support is lacking.
The quality of the NVIDIA denoiser vs the OpenImageDenoiser is not the same making this an setting between quality and performance. I would rather implement GPU backend of OpenImageDenoiser ( github.com/oneapi-src/oneDNN ). It can run on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel GPUs and has the same quality as OpenImageDenoiser version.
One reason why the GPU denoisers are fast is because the data is already on the GPU VRAM. In the compositor workflow the data is still in RAM and requires 2 data transfers to continue with the rest of the scene. These data transfers are slow and might not give you the performance you think it gets.
So without actually testing it I am not 100% sure if it gives you the result you expect in both quality, performance and usability. It needs more research to detect if it is actually useful.
I am not against adding more denoisers to the compositor node, it has the option for it. But would be better to support this ticket with actual numbers and comparisons to be sure it gives you the quality and performance.
