Remove the origin "dot" if nothing is selected
I can see, that with 3.6 Blender some nice UI fixes are introduced. Maybe it is a good moment to ask if it would be possible to make Blender to hide origin of the last selected object if nothing is selected anymore.
When an object is selected its origin orange dot is visible. LMB click anywhere in the background removes selection of this object, but the origin is still visible. It would be really nice if this operation would also hide the origin of the last selected object.

As others are commenting, when nothing is selected that origin dot indicates the active object. If no dots was drawn then how would we know which one is the active object?
By the way, when there are no active objects (e.g. after deleting the active object), no origin dots are drawn.
projects.blender.org/blender/blender/issues/82359 this link, that has been provided in one of the comments below, showed to me how complicated is, seemingly simple thing. So as I understand, it will stay as it is, because it is one of Blender paradigms.
I think you are having problem with that dot so for that you can turn off origin from overlay drop-down and untick origin but in that case you can no longer see the active object.
I use this feature often. It is just not the perfect solution.
Active and selected states are 2 independent things at the movement, even if nothing is selected usually last selected thing is active. You can see there difference when deleting object vs deselecting object.
Work on this is planned 82359 , but it's a lot more complicated project than just origins or interface.
I just had an illusion it was missed and slid under the radar. Thanks for the link and hope it will be solved in feature.
Even if you remove the dot, won't it still be the "active" object in for example the shader editor? Won't that get confusing for the user?
I am not sure if it would not require to select something then.
