Integer or value slider in Geometry Nodes
Sometimes I really want to be able to just create a slider where I can choose an integer between a certain value ....for example if you're working with a grid, then if you accidentally drag it to 60, tha might create way too much geometry and crash the program ....So it would be lovely to be able to create a slider like the Color Ramp Factor Slider where you can drag between set values for example 2 and 20 for the number of grid divisions (as an example)
Obviously you can do this with a clamp and a map node, but this would be a one node solution and would look a bit cleaner and would be quicker to set up without pfaffing around with multiple nodes.
And again it would be useful, for example, some parameters you would never want to drag below zero, but you can drag them below zero and then you need to drag them back up to zero before you can go positive again.....a slider with fixed end stops at each end would be very useful.
Of course, you could make it with a color ramp and a math node but then you don't have any visual indication of what the value is that you've created and it's over complicated whereas a single slider would do the job more elegantly.
Seems like literally 5 minutes work for the devs. I would be happy to vibe code it.
Anyone?

You can create a group where Input goes straight to Output.
For input socket you can set the Max value;
This way the value is clamped to min/max. You can save the group as an asset, so it will be easy to add in the graph.
Or, you could use Mix node, but then you need math node to convert it to integer:
