Sure it can really do something interesting? Doesn't look to me like it can do more than create trivial materials. I would guess that it can't do more than tune parameters for a couple of predefined node setups.

This really isn't a proposal as much as it's a link to a YouTube video. Perhaps it would be wise to contact the creator of that video and encourage them to submit patches in the patch tracker.
