Wireframe rendering
hey everyone. i want to make a simple clay render, but i've found that it's impossible to do it quickly and easily. it requires me to do a bunch of stupid steps, like turn on freestyle option in the renderer, select all the edges and mark them, then configure the freestyle options. a bunch of steps in different sections of the program. it would be easier and logical to put everything in one modifier, or section.
in fact, i want to get what i see in the viewport in Rendered mode with the wireframe turned on, just as a render (when you press F12). is it really that hard to add an option to a render in Cycles with wireframe turned on, so that it's just turning on ONE option in one-two clicks instead of a whole bunch of non-obvious solutions? has NO ONE asked for this to make it SIMPLE and does everyone like to do a bunch of stupid steps to get a simple result?
i see it this way: add options to the wireframe modifier not for geometry changing, but simply for displaying the wireframe during rendering.

surprised that this request didn't get support. seems to be everyone likes that for wireframe renders you have to investigate and search all over the blender interface instead of setting it up intuitively from one place. that's sad
Well you can just render your viewport Window (View-Viewport Render) with your Wireframe enabled and it would just give you exactly what you want to see. Or if you want a mix of both you can add a Grease Pencil Object or Collection Line Art Modifier which automates the Outline Process you described and you could still go in and finetune it if you want.
plz read the description once more.
