Drawing Tools for Blender VSE
Hi,
I use blender to create educational videos, it would be really nice to have an easy way to draw over the video to highlight some parts of it to get student's attention. Take a look at this youtube video , it shows how it is done in Adobe Premiere, it would be awesome to have something similar here.
I know that you can workaround this by adding Image strips with an alpha background, but it is really annoying and time consuming to use another software just to draw basic 2d shapes and annotations.
Thanks, Hamza

It's in Blender 2.83. Start a new Video Editing workflow and in the tools for the preview window you can select Annotation tool.
* @ammusionist * This annotation tool is used to add notes for you, the video creator, it will not rendered in the produced video. What I mean by adding annotations is adding them to the video to be baked with it when rendering it.

Thanks, but still not ideal. If I wanna circle a word or something in my video that I recorded, I'd have to essentially draw on a separate area, add it on top of my imported video, and hope that I drew the circle in the right spot.
