Frequency Range Filter for Audio

I like using Blender for audio visuals. It would be so helpful if I could

  1. Not must use "Sound to Samples" in the F-Curve editor, but have a geo node for that.

  2. I could use a frequency filter for the sound file, for example to react only on kickdrums at the range of 30 Hz and between 80 Hz. Without that I have to manually extract it with my DAW.

The Animation Nodes addon does have nodes to work with sound files if I remember. I think it's not maintained besides critical fixes afaik.

If I remember correctly, it's thanks to that addon that its developer Jacques Lucke was hired by the BF to work on the "Everything Nodes" project, and that's part of how we now have geonodes and simulation nodes as first two milestones of the greater project.
So hopefully one day this all will be in Blender out of the box.
