Ability to "Apply" GP Effects into editable GP objects
I am not sure if this is possible, but if we could "Apply" a Grease pencil effect and covert it to a grease pencil object, it would be amazing for hand drawn animation workflow. One could quickly "Apply" a rim light effect, for example, and then get a Layer for the applied effect. And then go over each frame editing it as they wish.
This will allow artists to get fast shadow and rim lighting done on animations and drawings.

By definition, an effect in a process that occurs at the level of the pixels of the final image. We could consider the effects as a process of composition in real time. Since an effect does not work with geometry, it is impossible to apply it, just as it is impossible to apply a Blur on a render, because Blur is a composition process that only affects the saved image.
* @Antonioya Blender * Yeah, I was hoping there would be a way, but I guess it is impossible. It would be nice if someone makes a tool/addon to automatically calculate and add GP mesh on top of an object simulating rim light shape.
