Enum data type in custom properties
While rigging or doing almost any type of driver work, its nice to know what you are dealing with directly with text. Blender already supports integer datatypes, integer array datatypes and boolean/boolean array datatypes for custom properties:
The value of this is very simplistic, under the hood it would be just an integer but values would have labels.
Something that works similarly is datablock data type.
Value proposition is minimal. It would maybe make rigging/coding/drivers or control rig generation slightly easier. Mainly a simple mental overhead reduction. ("What did my equipment snap value 3 corresponded to?")
