Import images as plane, from an image empty

It's so easy to drag and drop images to empty in the blender scene, it's cool to have the possibility to right-click and trace gracepencil with it, but why is it so hard to have to enable an internal addon->file->import->images as plane->select the file in my system->select my original empty->set location to selected->et rotation to selected->set rotation to selected->select the original empty with image->delete it

wouldn't it be simpler to have all that in one click in the properties' menu (right-click or w key) (without having to rely on quick favorite or python snippet to install with isn't convenient on education environment where you can't always install everything to avoid specific tooling
