Menu Switch | Control different types of switches simultaneously
The idea is to improve the way the menu switch works. I know that right now simply connecting a single input to different menu switches won't work.
The workaround for this is to put it inside a nodegroup.
However, there is still one thing you still can't do and would be very handy if implemented.
I would like to be able to set a single input, to control different outputs of different types of menu switches.
For example when the user selects "Radial" that menu switch would pass the Radial shader output, and the other would pass the Radial color output.
I'm trying to solve this need with the current design, and it is very convoluted.
I'm currently needing this in shader nodes, but I'm checking that geo nodes need this too.

The data types of Menu in blender is unfortunately always attached to the original Menu switch node it comes from, meaning even if it has the same names, the internal ID of the menu data type cannot be shared to multiple menu switch nodes.
I believe there is an intent from the developpers's end to change the internal structure for it to work the way you mentionned.
The current workaround, which works perfectly well is to have a single Menu Switch node set to Integer, and have the integers be : 1, 2, 3, 4, etc... in the precise order and use Index Switch nodes with the menu switch output to control the result. Unfortunately, Index Switch is currently not supported in Shaders, which makes this behavior impossible in Shaders for now.
Thanks for the comment, and yes I know that by structure this is not currently possible. I just wanted to mention this need that may not have been considered. And thanks for the tip! It would be good to have the Index switch node in shaders too because there is where I need it now.
