Regarding the Urgent Issue Encountered When Exporting DXF Files in China
The issue at hand pertains to the challenges faced by users in China when exporting DXF files from Blender. Specifically, the problem involves the inability to accurately represent circular holes as "circles" in AutoCAD when these files are exported from Blender. Instead, these holes are exported as line segments, which are not recognized as true circles in AutoCAD or by machine production software, leading to inefficiencies in the design-to-production workflow.
This limitation impedes the broader adoption of Blender as a tool for interior design and cabinetry production in China, where over ten million interior design users are currently reliant on a few dominant company platforms that charge high fees and control all design data。By improving the DXF export capabilities of Blender, particularly by integrating Python libraries such as ezdxf or others, the software could provide a more efficient and cost-effective alternative for these users, potentially disrupting the current market monopoly.
The current export process results in DXF files that are not fully compatible with industry standards, which is a critical barrier to the seamless integration of Blender into the production pipeline. The integration of advanced DXF export features would allow for the accurate representation of geometric shapes, including circles, thereby facilitating a smoother transition from design to manufacturing.
In conclusion, addressing this urgent issue is essential for enhancing the functionality of Blender in the Chinese market and for empowering designers with greater autonomy over their design processes. It is hoped that the Blender community and development team will prioritize this improvement to support a more efficient design-to-production workflow for users in China and beyond.
The critical issue at hand is that when exporting DXF files, the circular holes are only exported as line segments, which cannot be recognized as "circles" in AutoCAD. These line segments that form the circular holes cannot be correctly identified by machine production software. It is hoped that the "circles" in the exported DXF files can be transformed into "circles" in AutoCAD, rather than being composed of many line segments, and they should not be the "fitted circles" within AutoCAD. It is hoped that the official team can improve the DXF export functionality.

this is not the problem with Blender but any such software (mesh modelling) software will do the same. i think you should adopt "Rhino 3d" software to design things for manufacturing. it is one time perpetual license. you can go for student version as well to work on single computer for lifetime. It is much more advanced for precise CAD modelling and work same like Autocad, you can even bypass Autocad with rhino because it has all the functionalities of autocad.
help me!please!
Sorry, this site is for feature requests, so we can't help you here no matter what we do :P You can try asking on the forums for the specific software the post is about.
