EEVEE and Moving lights
I don’t know If I’m that incompetent, crazy or unlucky that after months looking up online I haven’t been able to find a solution for this, or if EEVEE simply can’t do it.
Animations.
I’ve no use for eevee for single frame renders. I doesn’t matter if that takes 5s or 5min, it doesn’t bother me.
The only time I consider EEVEE is when I’m dealing with animations. In Cycles, some animations(say ~2min long, 60fps) can take 5h to render on my system. And that’s when I try to make use of EEVEE to maybe cut that time to 1h or something like that.
But EEVEE always fails me.
I often have the need of moving lights and I can NEVER figure out a way to make them work properly, because EEVEE always needs light probes and light baking to make the scene decent, and there’s 0 way to do that with moving lights without crazy duct tape python plugin fixes.
When meshes/camera moves, I also face similar problems. The world’s environment texture light leaks through meshes, but without it everything is pitch black, and overall lights are super inconsistent and problematic.
So my suggestion is: Please do something about moving lights/meshes in animations. Some new type of light probe or something that can handle those cases, because otherwise the overall quality is horrible.

There use to be a setting for probes where you could set objects to be dynamic but that setting is gone now. idk why.
