Changing Modes consistency

Mode Selection(Object mode , Edit mode) sometimes is on Top, Sometimes is on Bottom :

I've been using 2.8 for a bit , after upgrading my gpu , which makes it useable (compared to before it was slow as a tortoise compared to 2.79)

and an issue came , the Mode Selection (where you change from object to edit to sculpt ecc) is not consistent

Sometimes its on top , Sometimes its on bottom like 2.79 , its so confusing ,i find myself wandering around trying to find it , then realizing i should have just looked down , or up again

I think they're still moving these around. Let's wait for the Beta and see if it settles down.

"To open a file without loading its interface: File> Open, then untick the "Load UI" in the left of the File Browser window." The change of mode is definitely at the top left in version 2.8, it should not change anymore. See my previous post: blender.community/c/rightclickselect/t6bbbc/improved-readability-for-new-users

@valentinwn: thank you a lot :)

wo262

It should always be on the top for new files and all the new workspaces.

But if you open older files that were made in 2.7 then it will preserve the old UI unless you untick "load ui" in the file broswer
