Asset browser- Colour option for Asset Catalogs text
To be able to just right click on a catalog and in the popup that has "rename" and "delete catalog" have a new option called say "give colour"and then have a RGB wheel to choose a colour. Pretty simple I want to colour the text of the individual catalogs.

I am a newbie in blender, but really i do not understand some people here. It is insane to say colour coding is a bad idea. Try to code without it or try to organize a complex blender scene with hundreds of collections. The more customized visual "clues" the better.

I didn't vote. However I don't like the idea of color coded text but do support the option to enable it.
Cool, yeah that's understandable. This is something that most people would not need to touch just like the current colours for collections. My idea for the proposal is it is a handy thing to have when you have hundreds of catalogs for shaders, etc. it would be nice to colour just one or two to be able to spot the most used ones at a glance. Also, you could colour the catalogs that you feel have weaker assets red to remind you you need to fix something later etc.
Yeah, maybe only make the drop-down arrows colored.
Definite upvote from me. Slightly off topic but I really wish there was a way to add color to panels with python, really annoying you cant
