Key Binding Annotating Zone (import/exportable)
So being new i've learned how so much of blender becomes less intimidating to learn and use when you have streamlined setup, with cool pie menu addons etc. example wazou's pie menu is a big game changer for me.
With these types of addons, I can see myself overhauling bindings a lot.
So was thinking, an annotate zone would be super helpful. maybe have a favorites bindings (from your favorite press to take you to it's location)
I'd like to drag key bindings to the annotate zone. I would make the change there first add some comments if need be could have it so it shows the blender stock bindings above (you can hide this default) can also show/hide the restore from (&history if done often, and can delete these). from annotate mode, you could apply edits for each bindings changed (that are not the same as current) over to current bindings.(so apply bidding next to each. (apply button takes screen space maybe allow to horizontally squeeze column into small apply button)
this lets me delete a lot of bindings from the main/active section to keep it as compact as possible while still being able to see why I made a change by going to annotate zone.
have a take me to binding button on the annotation side that pulls up said button location on the real keylist side.
another thing: show recent searches and when scroll down a lot show search bar. still or have a back to top button
side note: is [user interface] the right tag for this topic? a [user friendly] and [workflow] tag might be good for this?

User Interface is the right tag. It covers both of those topics.
