Keyboard shortcuts for ALL tooltips
Coming from Max/Maya/C4D, the biggest hump I'm trying to get over is keyboard shortcuts. Please add the shortcut to all the tool tip overlays in order to make this initial headache a mere discomfort.

Oh god yes please, as someone coming to Blender from 3ds Max I keep hovering over buttons hoping they'll tell me what their shortcut is, but quite a lot of them don't
For example, a super simple one, the edge, face, vert mode buttons don't tell you that they're 1, 2, 3 on the keyboard. Sure that seems obvious, but when you're new to blender it's something you have to google that you could just find out by hovering over the button...
Good example of something with a shortcut but isn't displayed. So now it's clear it needs to be done.
If there could be some form of automatic shortcut display, that would be cool.
Aren't they already ?
I mean, not every tool is assigned to a shortcut. But for those who are, it's displayed in they tooltip or in the menu where you find them.
* @-L0Lock- * Do you know if these are generated somehow (Tooltip function looks for assigned hotkey in config) or are the tooltips hard coded?
If the former then it's easy to say yes, the tooltips are all there!
Otherwise.. * @blake * can you please give an example of a missing key shortcut?
I think it's auto generated (well, not "generated", but simply displayed as soon as there is a value to display). I don't know how it goes under the hood. But any custom key is displayed in tooltips/menu without asking you to edit the code of blender and make a new build.
* @ammusionist * Sure, how about "Move" ( translate )
Here's "Play" in the same session:

This one should likely have a shortcut by default right? G, after looking it up, but yeah, would be nice if that little look-it-up speed bump was removed.
* @blake * When was the last time you updated your Bl2.8 build ? Because mine is from march 3 and I've got this :
Also: Active tools are different from the regular tools. Active tools like "move" are a set of gizmos, theyr shortcut only switches their display. While the actual tools are completelly independent. When you press the Move active tool, you're just changing your gizmo. When you press G, you don't change any gizmo, you just start the actual move action right away. Active tools and tools shouldn't be confused.
* @blake * I think it is not have a hotkey because of G exist.
This is HUGELY important, even as a long time user this continues to bite me. I can only imagine it's much worse for new users.
