MACROs
I know there is a macro recorder addon (It is a not good one though) for blender but it will be better if we have it natively in blender....it will be even better if we are able to export that macro as a script so that we can use it later

It's worth linking to the existing macro recorder as part of the conversation, because it may be possible to adapt it to your needs already, and people like me are not familiar with it yet. Is it this? blender-addons.org/command-recorder-addon/ github.com/RivinHD/CommandRecorder2.8
* @jtxt * yes it is and it is not working in 2.9... I don't know why
* @Craig Jones * how can we contact the developer of the addon...so that we can request him to update his addon
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * Works in 2.9 for me.
* @andreas * Did u modify the code?
* @andreas * i am getting error msg
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * No ... just installed it. You have to be careful that the folder name in the addon directory does look like this - "CommandRecorder". With the "." in the folder name you might get problems.
.........
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * It's not Chinese addon... It's Blender addon made by someone, who spend own lifetime and ideas for making it, and shared for free with world. Even with you. Boycott yourself, idiot...

* @IIIFGIII * Kaha kaha se aajate hai aise log...pata nhi kya phunkte hai
Even 3ds max and Modo has it by default
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * Not to mention all the Photoshop users who love to create their actions.
I agree. I love the Command Recorder and I think it would be a great addition to Blender.
* @Andreas * can u please share me a picture...of what I should change....
* @arkoprobhogupta23 * If you are on a PC the addons are here ... C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.90\scripts\addons
In there you can see your CommandRecorder folder which might be named "CommandRecorder2.8". Just remove the "2.8" from the folder name.
* @Andreas * Thanx for the help ....it worked...
