Moving an entire menu to a temporary window is often better than Quick Favourites
I'm going to be using almost every item in these 2 sub menus heavily for the next 20 minutes. It would be nicer to pop each menu out to some kind of panel or window instead of adding everything to the Q menu temporarily.
Yes I know about shift+s for snap but there's no pie for Set Origin and I find it easier to scan a straight list of text than the sprawl of the pie options or memorize the numbers of the pie options.
What's funny is if I right click on "set origin" I get some kind of little window that I can drag around but it has nothing in it and is disappears when I click anywhere else.
Maybe they have something similar to my desire planned for the future? Does anyone know?

If menu's could tear and then float, then this would be logical. I hope there comes a way to tear menu's and make them float.
More generally I think of a dedicated way of organizing quick favourites. For instance by creating buttons for each of them and drag and drop for convenient rearranging those in different categories . Perhaps in a Norton Commander way of moving items ? Does it need a new post out there ?
this is a good idea.. i think if you made a mockup of what the tear/pin UI would look like at the top of a submenu.. it would go a long way to make this idea clear
* @David Jeske * Click Object menu then right click on Set Origin. You already get a floating panel with the heading text "Set Origin" but it has no content below that. You can click and drag that panel anywhere. Now all it needs is actual content within it and a close [x] button and to not disappear when you move your mouse away from it.
You can put any shortcut to Set origin, and the use 1-5 to make a quick selection.
