Mouse input (R.A.T. 5)/ Customisable Android Tablet App / FNkey

I bought a R.A.T 5 gaming mouse that has a Left/Right Scroll wheel, but this doesn't work in blender. it's a relatively cheap multi-button mouse and ill love to see this work for blender.

Ill love to see a Mouse input device preferences menu to customise the mouse buttons and wheels etc too.

=====================================

The second thing ill love to see in blender is an Android App that has a customisable interface. the App should be able to connect to your PC/Mac wirelessly and enable the user to press one key instead of multiple.. ..this should help to increase workflow. for example i use Ctrl-R a lot. Ill love to be able to press one key on my Phone/Tablet to do this...

I have been looking online. I don't know how to implement this but qpython.com/ looks like a good place to start.

=====================================

The final thing is; Can the FN key on a Mac be used for user defined shortcuts?

=====================================

Thanks for reading this!

That proposal is too vauge. There are apps that let you bind keys and macros to touchscreen, test it if you really want. Using tablet/phone as input device really isn't more ergonomic than using keyboard, that's exotic feature with not much benefit for regular blender users.

FN keys are meant to invoke specific computer features like speaker volume or screen brightness.

This really is multiple (3, by my count) unrelated proposals wrapped in one. It would be best if you would split this into separate proposals. This gives each proposal a specific focus where you can explain it in more detail (and provide mock-ups where it makes sense... for instance, where in Blender's interface would you see controls for left/right scrolling capability on hardware? What would it look like?).
