Node Editor - "Pop out as input" for value inputs

Frequently, I want to slightly tweak a value to test something, but still keep a copy of the old one, this usually entails going into the "add" menu to make a new input node for the value type, and copying it over.

I think it would be much easier and generally useful to have a context menu option to pop a node's value out as one of the already existing inputs. For example, right clicking on a numeric input box and popping it out as an input would create a Value node connected to the input with the same value.

Obviously the people who sort menu options (Pablo?) can move the option wherever they think it goes best, but I think the point is clear.

For the Shader editor and Compositor, the three inputs I can think of are RGB, Value, and Vector (Normal or CombineXYZ nodes) but for other future node editors, I imagine there would be different inputs as well.

@: I would definitely appreciate having that at least, yeah

There is a thread here discussing adding an auto menu whenever you drag out a connection (Presumably from either side of a node)

That should do the trick.
